TF-CBT Problematic Sexual Behavior Training and Consultation Series

Both PSB trainings are co-facilitated with Geoff Sidoli, LCSW, a nationally recognized expert in problematic sexual behavior treatment. These trainings are enhancements of TF-CBT, not a separate model, and include 6 consultation calls facilitated by both trainers. Private organizational cohorts require a minimum of 15 clinicians.
Every clinician receives access to my TF-CBT Toolkit and our combined Advanced TF-CBT PSB Toolkit - well over 1,000 vetted interventions, assessments, articles, and clinical resources, downloadable and organized by PRACTICE component, as well as specialized resources created and shared by the trainers to help children and adolescents whose trauma symptoms include sexualized behaviors.

TF-CBT PSB for Children 12 & Under:
Foundations, Assessment and Treatment

We approach this enhancement of TF-CBT differently. Days 1 and 2 build the clinical foundation first: rethinking sexually reactive behaviors symptomatically, standardized trauma screening and assessment, conducting a structured sexual developmental history with the child and caregiver, case conceptualization, collaborative safety planning, and engaging caregivers in denial or dissent, clarification and reunification work. Then we apply the TF-CBT PRACTICE framework so you understand how to do that through an individualized lens. You won't need extensive PSB training after this - build on what you already know and find success.
Includes 6 post-training consultation calls co-facilitated by both trainers, and access to 1,000+ of our combined, vetted clinical resources.
PREREQUISITE: Successful completion of TF-CBT Basic Training and at least 9 of 12 consultation calls by a developer-endorsed national trainer, or national certification as a TF-CBT clinician.

Three days structured the same way: core clinical foundations first, then treatment. We teach you a new way of conceptualizing these cases. Covers rethinking adolescent sexually reactive behaviors, standardized trauma assessment, conducting structured sexual developmental histories, case conceptualization, personalized safety planning, engaging caregivers and teens in denial or dissent, clarification/reunification, and applying TF-CBT's PRACTICE components through an individualized PSB lens. Join us to learn how to stop holding teens accountable and build responsiblity within.
